Our Pastor
Granger UMC is truly blessed to have been appointed Pastor Doug Lewis in June 2010. Pastor Doug is a genuine caring shepherd. His sermons are biblically based, relevant, challenging, to the point, and keep the listener glued to his words from beginning to end. Doug’s personal mission is “to enable people to become what they were created by God to be”. Pastor Doug received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from Mount Union College in Alliance, Ohio and his Masters of Divinity Degree at The Methodist Theological School in Ohio (METHESCO). He has served churches in Masury, Galion, Fredericktown, Bellevue and Mansfield (Main Street) before coming to Granger in July, 2010. In June, 2010 Pastor Doug celebrated his 25th anniversary in ministry in the East Ohio Conference of the United Methodist Church.
Doug has a wonderful wife (Suzanne) and three outgoing children. The whole family is engaged in ministry and a true joy to know.
Doug’s hobbies include playing guitar, downhill skiing and spending time with his family.
